About Me

Susan Middaugh has been writing plays since 1990 – full length dramas and dramatic comedies as well as long one acts and short, usually 10-minute plays.  Two of her full length plays, Master Theft and Not in Service, have been semifinalists in the Julie Harris Playwriting Competition.

Susan lives in Baltimore.  She is a member of the Dramatists’ Guild and the Playwrights Group of Baltimore. She has studied playwriting with Daisy Foote and Romulus Linney at the Sewanee Writers’ Conference and participated in workshops with playwright Jeffrey Sweet and director Paul Berman.

After hours, she enjoys hiking, dancing, spending time with friends and is learning to ride an adult tricycle.

On this website, you’ll find synopses of many of her plays.
